An increasing number of initiatives which facilitate collective practices of growing, cooking, eating and redistributing food are looking to address important environmental, economic, political and social issues. SHARE IT will support your initiative to estimate, communicate and improve its impact across a range of sustainability goals.
SHARE IT is designed to be an open access and flexible tool as food sharing initiatives exist in many different forms with different capabilities and resources available. It contains 3 different areas: The Toolshed (for building your sustainability impact report), the Talent Garden (for sharing stories about your initiative) and the Greenhouse (which provides opportunities for initiatives to connect with others and share experiences and insights). You can use one or all of these areas as relevant to your initiative’s needs. Discover more about each of these areas using the links below.
To register and use SHARE IT we will ask you some questions about your initiative to make sure the material you see is most relevant to you, but you will retain control over the information you enter into this toolkit and how it is used. The video below gives a short explanation of how to register with SHARE IT. We hope you find SHARE IT useful.
